Corey Baxter
Insurance Adviser / Director

Corey is our founder and one of our key Advisers here at Affinity+Co. He enjoys working with our wide variety of clients and specialises in insurance cover for people and working with businesses to establish insurance cover for their employees. Corey has been working in the insurance sector since 1998, so you can rest assured knowing you’re in great hands with plenty of experience.
Outside of working with Affinity+Co clients, Corey is in a rock band (you might see him entertaining the crowds at weddings, functions and bars), and also enjoys spending time with his partner Andrea and his three children.

Amy Tonkin
Office Manager

Amy is our Office Manager superstar, taking care of everything from client enquiries, to claims, to ensuring both the office and Advisers are well organised. Amy is your friendly first point of contact when you call us or pop into our office on Stafford Street.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, partner and friends, expressing her creativity through nail art and spending time at the river with her gorgeous dog’s Charlie and Nova.
Amy has a true passion for helping people so she’s a great asset to the Affinity+Co team!

Tony Caldwell

Tony has worked in Finance and Insurance for all his working life.  He started in banking after leaving school, working his way up to management positions, before leaving in 1998 to start in the Insurance industry.

Tony has worked in the personal Insurance space since 1998, starting with Oamaru Insurance Brokers, before buying the business in 2002 and changing the name to Waitaki Financial Services Ltd.

Tony now specialises in Personal/Business Insurance, and KiwiSaver, incorporating his lifetime experience in finance and insurance to recognise and recommend solutions that align to his clients needs.

Tony is an outdoors person, he farms a lifestyle block with his wife Shirley just outside Oamaru, His remains actively involved in Mountain Biking, Snow Skiing and Motorcycle Trail and Adventure riding.   All of which he does with his now grown-up children and more recently his young grand children who love to bike and are learning to ski.
